Q. How do I make my room reservation?
A. To make reservations, please use our Secured Online Reservation Form available on this website. Please ensure that you furnish all information required in the
Reservation Form.
Q. When I submit my reservation form, where does my request go to?
A. It will go to our Reservation Department.
Q. How long will it take for the Hotel to respond to my reservation request?
A. Within 24 hours and not later than 36 hours. If you do not receive your respond with 36 hours, please let us know via e-mail at
maxcarry@tm.net.my
Q. I don't have 24 hours to wait for a confirmation. What can I do?
A. You can e-mail us at
maxcarry@tm.net.my or the e-mail adress available on the website.
Q. What happen if after 36 hours we do not receive any respond from you?
A. As you may be aware, there are many possible factors, such as server's error or other technical problems that are beyond our control, that can affect online bookings. Consequentlt, your reservation may not reach us. So, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at
maxcarry@tm.net.my to enquire about your reservation.
Q. How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
A. When you receive our acknowledgement via e-mail or fax within 24 hours (and not later than 36 hours) of submitting your Reservation Form. your reservation is deemed confirmed if guaranteed by credit card or on receiving a cash deposit made into the hotel's bank account.
Q. How do you respond to us on our confirmation?
A. We will respond via e-mail. We do not call nor do we fax to you unless you specifically request us to do so. It is therefore important that you furnish us with accurate e-mail address/es.
Q. We seem to be unable to locate your telephone number on this website?
A. It is because we do not provide any telephone numbers. This website and the rates displayed on this website have been specially designed for Internet Booking only. Guests who call the hotel will not be entitled to our Internet Promotional Rates.
Q. What happens if I encounter problems with my reservation upon checking-in?
A. You are advised to quote your confirmation number if you were given one. If you were not given any comfirmation number, it is advisable that you print out the confirmation letter and bring it along.
Q. What do I need upon checking-in?
A. Your confirmation number or otherwise a print out of the the confirmation letter.
Q. How far ahead should I make the reservations?
A. At least 72 hours before arrival date.
Q. Is it advantages for us to book early?
A. Yes, as we are often fully booked. To avoid disappointed, please make your booking as early as possible.
Q. When making the reservation I gave my credit card details but upon checking in I decide to pay cash. Is this possible?
A. Yes. Since we do not collect payment online, your credit card is not debited until you arrive at the hotel. The credit card details you furnish usare used merely to guarantee your reservation. Upon checking in you may opt to pay cash instead.
Q. What are the means for us to guarantee our booking?
A. There are two ways to guarantee your booking, using credit card or cash. For those without credit cards, we will require them to make cash deposits into the hotel's bank account. If you wish to pay by cash, please indicate your intention in the Reservation Form.
Q. Which would you prefer us to use to guarantee our reservation, by Credit Card or Cash Deposit?
A. if you are from overseas, we prefer Credit Card because it is less troublesome. You will be spared the inconvenience of finding a suitable bank to make your cash deposit. In any case, a credit card is preferred since the process is straight forward and more convenient than than cash deposit.
Q. If we do not have a Credit Card can we make our reservations via your Online Reservation Form and what are the procedures?
A. Yes you can make your reservations via our Online Reservation Form. The procedures will be as follows: Fill up our Online Reservation Form and indicate to us that you will be paying cash. We will then give you instructions on how to make your cash deposit. You will be furnished with details like the name of the bank, the hotel's account number, the amount etc.

Q. Do you debit my credit card during the Reservation stage?
A. No. We do not debit your card during the Reservations stage. When you makea reservation, we need your credit card details merely for guaranteeing the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Q. How do I change or cancel my reservation?
A. By telephone, fax or e-mail. Please specify your Confirmation Number, Name, Hotel/Resort, Check In Date and Check Out Date. We prefer by e-mail.
 
Q. What is your hotel/resort's Cancellation Policy and what are the penalty if we defaulted?
A. Our Cancellation Policy and Penalty Charges if any, are contained within this website on the Rooms & Rates or Promotional Packages page. Please look for these information within this site.
PAYMENT
Q. What are the credit cards accepted at your hotel?
A. We accept all major credit cards.
 
Q. Does your hotel accept Visa Electron Card?
A. No.
Q. When do I have to include my credit card number?
A. When you fill up our Secured Online Reservation Form to guarantee your reservation.
Q. Is it safe to use my credit card?
A. Our Secured Online Reservation Forms are encrypted.
Q. Why do you need my credit card number and expiry date?
A. To guarantee your reservation.
ROOMS & RATES
Q. Based on the rates offered on your website, is it possible for us to ask for special discount?
A. Rates displayed on this website are our Internet Promotional Rates. They are discounted rates meant for Internet booking only. Only bookings made via this website are entitled to those Internet Rates.

Q. What about special discounts?
A. No discounts will be given on those Internet Promotional Rates. Please look out for our Promotional Packages.
Q. We are Airlines Staff, are we entitled to Airlines Rates?
A. We do not have rates for Airlines staff. Please make bookings through your respective airlines for rates accorded to the respective airlines if any. Our rates are Promotional Internet rates.
Q. We are Malaysian Civil Servants, are we entitled to special rates?
A. No. Our rates are special Internet Promotional rates. Please check with your respective departments if there are any special rates accorded to Malaysian Civil Servants.
Q. We are Government Employees of other countries, are we entitled to special rates?
A. No. We do not have any special rates for Government Employees of other countries.
Q. What are the room check-in & checkout times?
A. Please refer to the information contained in this website found in the
Rooms & Rates page.
Q. What is the earliest time I can check-in ? We will be arriving at the hotel early in the morning?
A. Early check-in is subject to availability of rooms.
Q. Do you have Baby Cot?
A. Yes, we normally have baby cot and we provide baby cot free of charge. Please enquire at the reception upon check-in.
Q. We will be arriving at 5.00 a.m. in the morning, if we check-in at this time, do you consider this as 1 night?
A. Yes. A new day starts at 6.00 a.m.
Q. Our flight home is well after the check-out time, What is your rate for a late check-out?
A. The normal room rates on this website applies.
Q. We will be arriving at the hotel at roughly around 3.00a.m., so can we check in at that time?
A. Yes, but you will be charged according to the rates shown on this website. Please indicate in your reservation form your arrival time.
Q. We are aware of your check out time but due to our late flight, we wish to stay on for about 3 hours longer. Is this chargeable?
A. Late check-outs are usually not chargeable but is always subject to availability of rooms. Please indicate in your reservation form as we may be able to accommodate your request free-of-charge if rooms are available.
Q. We are aware of your check-in time, but we would like to check-in early, is this chargeable?
A. An early check-in is usually not chargeable but is always subject to availability of rooms. Please indicate in your reservation form if you wish to check-in early as we may be able to accommodate your request free-of-charge if rooms are available.

Q. Is there a hotel shuttle service to/from the airport?
A. Yes we do have our Airport Transfer Vehicle but it is chargeable (see
Location). Please indicate in the reservation form that you require Airport Transfers. We will give you the rate for Airport Transfer during the confirmation of your bookings.
 
Q. Which is cheaper, your Airport Transfer or the Public Transport?
A. The public transport is usually cheaper.

Q. Do we need adaptors or transformers for our electrical devices?
A. In the United Kingdom, the electricity runs on 240 volts with 50Hz cycle system.
ENGLISH LAW
Q. Is there a speed limit on the British roads and are seat belts required?
A. Speed limits vary on different types of road. There are ample traffic signs on British roads. Seat belts are required for the driver and the front seat passenger. For details of speed limit visit :

Q. Do we need a British Driving Licence to drive in The United Kingdom?
A. If you have a valid International Driving License or Driving Licence from your country you do not require a British driving license but conditions apply. For details please visit:

Q. Will we be driving on the same side of the road as in U.S.A?
A. No. In Britain you drive on the left side of the road. (which is by the way is the right way!)
Q. What is the legal drinking age in Britain?

Q. Do I need a Visa?
A. It depends on your country of origin. Please check with the British Embassy or High Commision in your country.
 
MISCELLANEOUS
Q. Do we need to change money before or upon arrival?
A. For your convenience, it always advisable to purchase the local currency beforehand as all transactions will be in Sterling Pound (
£). However, there are numerous Exchange Bureaus and Banks that attend to your requirements.
 
Q. Where can I exchange currency?
A. At Excahnge Bureaus (or Bureau de Change) or banks.
Q. Are clothing and shoe sizes the same in Britain as in the US?
A. No.
Q. What is the standard tipping practice in England?
A. Tipping is at your own discretion. However, at some establishments 10% to 15% is the norm.
Q. What's the weather like England?
A. Temperate climate with 4 seasons. Since Britain is in the Northen Hemisphere, the seasons are opposite to those in countries in the Southern Hemisphere like Australia, South Africa etc. Summer is from May to August.
